A Ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ

Babies come to the Nazareth Home with the most heart-breaking injuries.

Violently shaken. Fractured skulls & broken bones.  3rd degree burns. Some are drug addicted at birth. Each child brings with them, a tragic story of abuse, illness, and poverty.

For the past 24 years, the caring Sisters and co-workers at Nazareth Home have loved over 200 babies and toddlers back to health, both physically and emotionally.

Nazareth Home, a licensed foster home in East Chicago, was founded in 1993 by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ. Nazareth Home provides individualized, 24-hour care for infants and toddlers suffering from addictions, abuse, neglect, or other severe health issues.

Caring for children with such exceptional needs is costly. Our children require and receive a level of care not available in a traditional foster home setting.

Thank you for joining us, and being a part of the life-giving miracle that is Nazareth Home.

THANK YOU, IN ADVANCE, FOR HELPING CARE FOR OUR PRECIOUS CHILDREN.
