Lindsey
Lindsey, was the 76th baby to make Nazareth Home her home for the first critical months of her life. Lindsey came to Nazareth when she was just two weeks old. She was the ninth child born to her biological mother, who was unable to properly care for her. But meeting Lindsey, one is hard-pressed to believe that she had such a dire start in life. Her new mom, Tracie, attributes much of Lindsey’s positive development to the care she received in her beginning months at Nazareth. She proudly describes Lindsey: “She’s outgoing, not the least bit passive, and she has a lot of tomboy instincts. If she falls down, she just gets right back up and keeps going. I believe children watch and mirror your reactions, and if you’re always upset about the least little thing, they react similarly.” Tracie added that Lindsey is a very compassionate and perceptive child.
Her mom’s been taking her to the theatre since she was just a year old, and she started reading at the age of two and she knows the books of the bible in order. Father’s Day will mark her first dance recital. Sister Barbara Kuper, Director of Nazareth Home says “people are instantly drawn to Lindsey with her bright personality, we all love her so much!”
When complimented on how well-behaved Lindsey is, Tracie concluded, “Lindsey is the poster child for adoption…I should have named her Gift, because she’s my gift from God. I feel like I’ve been touched by an angel, with Lindsey in my life!”
